Brawl, it kinda gives off more of a competitive vibe, I prefer fighting games, its one of my favorite types of games. I've never really liked racing games, but MkWii is certainly one of the best!

Well, you have to remember, Nintendo redefines a genre of gaming, whether its fighting or racing.
You can take someone that hates Mortal Kombat, and love Super Smash. You can also take someone that hates Nascar and ATV Racing and absolutely love Mario Kart.
When people look at these games, they see new genres fulfilling there own purpose. When I play these games, I feel there is a better reason to go out and purchase a racing game, even though theres not.
Nintendo redefines the way you play, Video Games and all.

compared to what everyone else thinks about brawl, i do not like it as much...
i DO NOT think this game was ever to be a fighting game ( more like a party game to me ) for many reasons but i won't go into that, but MKWii is a good game for what type of game it is, a kart racing game. brawl is a good party game, not a fighting gamers wonderful dream

Brawl without lag probably would've won. Also, they delayed it fifty million times, yet the new features added were really crappy. Subspace Emissionary failed, CO-OP events failed, online play failed, etc
They need to really re think their wifi. You should be able to set up a game room and wait for others to join, not join a random free for all game.
MKWii online play is fantastic. Lag free! The new addition of bikes, wheelies, new characters, tricks, etc. is fantastic. The only thing that really pissed me off is that it's way more "kid friendly" and you don't need as much skill anymore. Some races are totally item based due to the new crappy items they added. You can really get screwed over if a bullet runs into you, a person with a star runs into you, a red shell hits you, a green shell hits you, a pow hits you, a person with a lightning cloud hits you, a person uses the squid and you fall of the track, etc. They've added too many offensive items and left out the items that should cancel them out. I've gone from first place to last place in 10 seconds due to rapid blue/red shells.
MKWii wins.

I have yet to play Mario Kart Wii online, and I didn't even want to play Brawl online (Way more fun with friends) it's very close I should call a tie but I'd have to say Brawl because I play that more with friends than I do Mario Kart Wii. From what I've heard Mario Kart Wii online is supposed to be really good and I already enjoy playing with the Wii Wheel. They are both really good games.

i cant stand mkwii, it was a complete disappointment to me. it wasnt as fun as i hoped, sure it had good wifi, but whats the point if you dont even like it? XD sorry to the kart fans but id say it was the worst mario kart yet. brawl on the other hand is fun, cause you can play around with characters and do whatever you want really. (plus i dont get angry at brawl, all mario games CHEAT for me so i dont like most of them.)
