Pokémon Diamond

Introduction

Pokémon Diamond is the latest game in the series of hand held Pokémon games. Released April of 2007 in the U.S. (September of '06 in Japan), it became the fastest selling game of the year, with 500,000 pre-orders and 1,000,000 (yes, one million) copies in the first five days. Many think the game doesn't deserve its popularity, considering it's very similar to the past several hand held Pokémon games. However, it came with lots on new features, and, most importantly, made great use of the DS's new Wi-Fi technology, along with its touch screen. All in all, Nintendo made a great game that, even eight months after the release, it still has a huge fanbase and lots of Wi-Fi activity.
