To Dash or Not to Dash?
I was wondering who here can pull off wave dashes? This supposedly separates the pro from the player. I personally can't pull off WD continually nor can I implement them to benefit me on game play. I was wondering if anyone perfected they're WD? I know a lot of friends that WD but don't use it on a battle, I never really aimed to master it especially because of brawl rumors that WD'ng is out for good =/

I have heard that too, but not I nor any of my friends wave dash, or even know how to wave dash. I didn't even know they were bringing it back in super smash bros.

Wave Dashing is an advance skill. It's a combination of Short Hop,Air Dodging. I believe Antonie can explain better. Who here hopes WD is still in? I do. =/

I don't want WD to be in Brawl. People are going to abuse it on the wifi, and really that won't be fair

As for wave dashing, yes I can do it. I don't use it in combat because I've never had the need to use it. As for it being in Brawl, well I've heard that it wasn't in the game but I don't know for certain. =\

wave dashing is lame i use it on my friends and it never seems to get me anywhere alot of my friends dont ever even cancel and when i sidestep or roll they are like WTF so i guess itf i was playing against a good person it could be dif we will see in Feb who has the goods lol im gonna have to get good with Pit lol

I am pretty expert at wavedashing, wave grabbing, wave smashing, edge hogging, and all that. However, it's so cheap that I never use it, I think that if you have to glitch out the game to win you're not that good. I definitely hope they take it off brawl, because it gives players unfair advantages. The only thing that I use a wave dash for is to edge hog, which is also a cheap move, but it's a little too much fun to pass up. The only reason I got good with the wave moves to begin with is like Jeff said, because people would probably abuse it on wifi.

Familiar with all of it, just don't like to do it, after one guy said he could beat me and he used those cheap moves, and still lost, I found the need of riding them of my strategy. but yea I don't want it to come back, to many cheap abusers out there :/
