Star EGM Magazine - SSBB

Start Collecting!

The latest issue of EGM is now on shelves, with a cover story covering everything we know so far about Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Melee, the first big Wii release of 2008. The eight-page spread is complimented by a whopping 12 different collectable covers, featuring some of your favorite characters, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Pikachu, Donkey Kong, Mario, Wario, Kirby, Link and others.

Inside, you'll also find an editorial from Dan "Shoe" Hsu that's already been making waves on the 'net, where he addresses why 1UP, GFW and EGM won't feature the same level of coverage on games from Ubisoft, Midway's Mortal Kombat team and Sony Sports. You can find a reproduction of the editorial in Shoe's latest blog, entitled "Banned."

Check out all of this and more -- including afterthoughts interviews with Super Mario Galaxy Director Yoshiaka Koizumi and Harmonix's VP of Product Development Greg LoPiccolo, as we look back on Rock Band -- in the February 2008 issue of EGM.
