Either I read the question wrong or I am right, I think he said do you use characters that come already on Brawl, or people you have to WIN or UNLOCK, but I will answer the question and the misinterpreted one also.

I play with unloackable and I must win with Wolf and Luigi...

Announcement!! I need all of you peoples undivided attention!!! Hi..

I usuall used Roy to win in melee, but when brawl came out, I used marth, well it went bad, and I was only decent with him so I decided with Ike, he was fun and awesome, but I didnt really win with him os when I got Snake, I won easily with him and it was fun too! So now my mains are Snake and Ike and my backups are Marth and Link!

I use Ike to win most of my brawls. Especially wifi. He has amazing strength, and amazing attacks. I mostly don't use unlockable characters. Unless with Sonic or Snake.
