Colors on the friend list

Beside all the names on my friend list on the right there is a small circal with a color in it. The colors are: Red, blue, green, yellow and orange. What do the colors meen? Do they represent something? If anyone knows please share your wisdome with everybody because I know people that have asked me the same question.

red=EXTERMELY LAGGY
green=no lag once so ever!

It's how well your connection is to that player. Green has the best connection, red has the worst and probably a game with that player will be laggy.

Huh? I read in the book that blue is perfect, and green is just one below that... I thought the order was, from best to worst:

Blue-Green-Yellow-Orange-Red

I have 1 blue (someone in my city), 1 green for now(Jojo-but changes green to red frequently), 3 reds, 2 oranges, the rest yellow.
