The only reason, your acutally good, is because you use Metaknight.

Let me clear up some misconceptions here:

The first and foremost being: SNAKE IS NOT BANNED FROM TOURNAMENTS!!! (unless it's a gamecrazy or gamestop tournament, and who would go to one of those except to make fun of it?). Oh, and if MK is higher than Snake, why isn't he banned from tournaments??? There is no character in the game with an advantage over Meta Knight.

Second: Fox, his shine went away and l-canceling is out. Just fyi that means he's terrible now. No shfflc.

Third: C Falcon's knee got nerfed and chars are much lighter now and almost impossible to combo.

Fourth: Unfortunately you guys have no clue as to how to interpret this list. Just because Luigi is higher than Mario doesn't mean if they fought Mario would win. This tier list, I believe, is based purely off of tournament results: MK wins the majority of tournaments, Snake next, and so on. It would be impossible to have all of the best smashers on earth congregate and play to see who's the best, that would not make any sense. It is purely statistical. For instance: DK, Pikachu, Peach, MK, Olimar, and R.O.B all have an advantage over Snake. Snake just does better in tournaments than all those chars(except MK).

Actually, though it is based off mainly tournament results that is not all it is based on. I was reading around the smashboards forums and they say that it isn't just based off of tourneys. there are other things taken into account when they make it, though I don't know what. I never could find out. =\

Thank you very much for pointing that out for me. I was not entirely clear on the subject. I knew it was based on tourney results at least somewhat but I was not sure to what degree. I think they also take in to account hitboxes, stun time, and other such variables.
