I don't know how many of you are aware of it, but just today the SBR has released the first version of the Brawl tier list.

A tier list, for those of you that don't know is "is a ranking of each character's metagame, based on tournament settings. It is an indicator of how each character is expected to perform, under tournament settings, in relation to the rest of the cast. Thus, tiers measure the potential of each character based on all currently known techniques and strategies that have been shown to be useful in tournaments" -smashwiki.

But yes, finally a Brawl tier list was released and I think it would be fun to discuss it.

Ooo pretty! For the most part, I think it's pretty accurate. >.>

Cept for two things:

1. Snake should not be in the top. Snake should not be in the game period (imo). >.>"

2. Luigi should not be in middle. Weegee should be in god tier! ;D

Toon Link just barely kept out of high tier ^^ (Yes I like my mains to be lower tier)

I have a few issues with this
1. Falco should not be top, he should be at the top of high tier, Falco has a terrible, predictable recovery, and a good player can gimp or edgehog him to hell.
2.Bowser is far too high up, he gets a boost up for being a tough matchup for MK(go figure) but not that big.
3.Metaknight is not Top tier, he is god tier
4.Luigi is too low.
5.Sonic and C.Falcon should be switched.

anyyyway. If not for Marth and Falco all my mains would be low-mid tier lol.

Agreed on that. And Meta Knight is number 1 so close enough to god tier. ;D Fucking Meta Knight. >__>

Anyway I also think Samus should be moved up to at least middle tier; no way is she low tier. >_>

wow almost everyone in the low tier is pretty good....

EDIT:i dont see how D3 is in the top...i mean hes good but if he fights a guy with speed he will get raped...

I disagree. If he fights a guy with speed they are most likely light, which means they only have to get hit a couple times to get K.O.'d. If you don't believe me, let's test it, my D3 vs. your Cpt. Falcon.

ive seen how strong D3 is infact i use him sometimes.he can ko around 50ish but if thats the case why isnt ike higher?
